1987年の日本初演以来、40年近くにわたり日本語版として親しまれてきたミュージカル『レ・ミゼラブル』。ロンドン初演40周年の2025年、オリジナル・プロダクション製作のサー・キャメロン・マッキントッシュは、ブーブリルとシェーンベルクによる本作を『レ・ミゼラブル ワールドツアースペクタキュラー』として生まれ変わらせました。本公演は、ウエストエンドで２００回を超える上演回数を記録して大成功を収めた『レ・ミゼラブル ステージドコンサート』の演出とスケールを更にグレードアップさせ、特別なセット・デザインを新たに採用し、総勢６５名以上のキャストとオーケストラによる特別ヴァージョンとなります。
2024年9月にイギリス・ヨーロッパで開幕し、批評家・観客双方から絶賛を浴びました。そして、ついにワールドツアーの一環として、世界的に高い評価を受けるキャスト陣と共にインターナショナルなカンパニーが日本初上陸を果たします。

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original London production, this epic staging brings Cameron Mackintosh’s critically acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables to life on a scale never before seen in Japan, led by an internationally acclaimed cast. Based on the smash-hit Les Misérables: The Staged Concert―which played over 200 sold-out performances in London’s West End―this world tour features a dynamic new design, a company of over 65 international cast and orchestra members, and an electrifying production enhanced with new set and lighting designs.
Having opened to critical and audience acclaim in the UK and Europe from September 2024, the production continues to tour to destinations worldwide. This marks the first ever appearance of this extraordinary international company in Japan.
